All Epson 664 EcoTank ink bottles contain dye-based ink. It is not interchangeable with other EcoTank ink bottles because some ink bottles contain pigment-based ink. Dye-based ink provide a more vivid color range but is not water- and fade-proof unlike pigment-based ink.
